Categories
This page gathers every category we sort games into. Each has its own page listing what is filed under it, and the figure beside a name reflects what is playable right now rather than what was there once.
Why these names are not the usual ones
Most game sites label their sections with industry vocabulary, which tells you very little when all you want is something to play in the next few minutes. Ours are named after what you actually meet when you click. The category of quick, finish-in-one-round titles is the arcade category. The one where you read the board before touching it is head spinners. The one measured purely by finger control is sharp hands. These names belong to this site and were not lifted from anywhere else.
A single title often belongs in more than one
Few titles have only one personality. A single car might belong both to the racing category and the wheel-control category, because it rewards flat-out speed and careful lane discipline in equal measure. We do not force each card to pick one home, so the category totals add up to more than the number of games in stock. That is expected, not a counting error.
Categories with nothing in them
Our back office holds more category names than this page shows. Any name with no game filed under it is left out entirely: no tile, no menu entry, and no line in the sitemap. Sending a reader to an empty page wastes their time for no reason at all.
