GOZEN IZAKAYA is a pile of browser games with four cartoon monsters loitering at the door. The thick black outlines, the hard drop shadows and the loud colours were not picked to look odd — they exist so that anyone landing here knows within a second that nothing needs filling in, nothing needs registering, and nobody is going to chase them for an email. What a game has to clear before it goes up

Nothing gets tipped in wholesale from the shared library. Every title is looked at on its own and judged on two counts. First, the artwork has to sit comfortably beside the grinning crew out front, which is why ghost, gun and battlefield themes drop out at this stage — not because they are badly made, but because they belong in a different building. Second, it has to actually open. Anything that produces an empty frame comes down as soon as we notice, with a note of the date and the reason so it can be checked back later. What happens inside a game once it runs belongs to the studio that built it, and the terms page covers that separately.

Where the wording around each title comes from

Every sentence wrapped around a game on this site is drafted here. We never drop in the blurb bundled with a game file, because those come off one mould and have been sitting on other sites long before we arrived. The Thai side and the English side are drafted in separate passes rather than carried across by translation, since readers on either side trip over different things.

Numbers we cannot count ourselves do not get typed

You will find no stars, no review scores and no player totals anywhere here. The reason is blunt: the library we draw from does not carry those figures at all, so having them would mean inventing them, which is lying to the reader in the first line. That space shows the category name instead — something anyone can trace back.

The name and the address

The name in the header comes straight off the domain, so whoever typed the address sees the same word they typed. This is a games site and nothing more: it does not continue, inherit or relate to any other venture that used this address before. Pages that once lived here say plainly that they are permanently withdrawn, rather than flinging visitors at a games page with no explanation.
